RESOLUTION NO. 73 -504PC
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING ITS
INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO
DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Temple City finds
that certain premises within the City may be maintained contrary to the
provisions of the Municipal Code of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that a public hearing be
held to ascertain whether or not a public nuisance exists;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission hereby declares its intent
to hold a public hearing on July 10, 1973, to ascertain whether certain
premises situated in the City of Temple City, State of California, known
and designated as 9019 Broadway in said City, and more particularly de-
scribed as Portion of Lot 20, Parcel 3 1 , Sunny View Tract Book 13, p. 156,
constitute a public nuisance subject to abatement by the City;
That the following conditions . maintained on said property may
exist contrary to the provisions of Section 9480 of the Municipal Code
of the City:
1. Excessive growth of grass,and weeds.
2. Accumulation of trash and debris
That abatement by the following method has been suggested:
1. Mowing of grass and weeds to bring the maintenance of the
property into conformance with the rest of the neighborhood
2 . Removal of a l l trash and debris
That the City Clerk shall cause the owner of said premises to be
served with appropriate notice in the manner prescribed by the Municipal
Code;
That the Secretary of the Planning Commission shall cause said
premises to be posted in the manner prescribed by the Municipal Code;
The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

1973.

held on the 12th day of June 1973, by the following vote of
the Planning Commission:
