Grants
Carol submitted a grant to the Scott’s Corporation for community beautification on behalf of the MIC. Only 200 applications were awarded nationwide and our project was not funded.
Carol submitted LOT applications on behalf of the MIC for a pocket park on Roosevelt and the Centennial Committee for the Centennial pocket park project.

McCall Redevelopment Agency
The next meeting is scheduled for May 17. At the last meeting, there was an update on the Sundial Project and the remaining items for the 2010 Improvement Project.

McCall Improvement Committee
The MIC is planning for the America in Bloom program. The judges will visit McCall July 25-26 this year. The Community Profile has been completed and submitted to AIB. Carol gave a
presentation to the Long Valley Gardeners and the Rotary Club about AIB. Staff coordinated an Earth Day cleanup and members of the EAC assisted in cleaning up public areas that were
not still under snow.

Historic Preservation Commission
The draft of the downtown historic walking tour is complete and will be reviewed by HPC commission members. A CLG grant for $3500 was awarded and the HPC will work on a historic preservation
plan for McCall. A consultant will be hired to help with the work.

Staff mailed Centennial info to area businesses and schools. A Facebook page will be set up. The MCC has been working on a variety of events.

P&Z Commission
The May 3 meeting had the following applications: 2 DRs and there was a discussion on a code amendment to bring City Code in compliance with state code in regards to term limits. Staff
will prepare the code amendment.

The May 12 meeting includes the Shore Lodge Beach Club CUP and the Access Easement Agreement. The May 26 meeting includes a work session on a project for the CDBG application and Economic
Development activities for FY11.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Working to produce a GPS program for the Parks and Rec. Dept weed mapping program this summer. Received Census data and am in the process of checking it and creating a format for the
public to access and use our data via Google. Working on entering our data into a Google friendly format so that we can have updated layers on Google Maps. Working on correcting several
road name and address irregularities. Continuing to work on the Digital Data Submission standards with Control Points.

REEZ Solar Grant
Aurora Power and Design, Inc. has met with all of the Project Partners as well as the USDA and the grant writer for the REAP grants. Aurora working on getting a decision from one partners
on whether they still want to go forward as their system as per the original grant award. The partner agreements have been drafted for the match commitment and terms of the grant.

Brad and Michelle attended the National American Planning Association conference April 9-12. Nick attended the free Energy Efficiency and Codes class held in McCall on April 29. Carol
attended the Payette Scenic Byway Advisory Committee meeting on April 8th. Federak funding has been cut for the WCHRCD and currently that office is not staffed. Participation from
McCall should continue but is to be determined. Michelle was selected for the Idaho Business Review’s Idaho Accomplished Under 40 Award for 2011. She will be featured in a magazine
and attend an awards dinner in June.

McCall Area Pathway Planning
The McCall Area Pathway Planning is underway and sub-committees are working on the inventory, marketing/outreach and health. The next meeting is May 11 and the consultant will attend
the meeting to meet the committee and give an introduction to the public charrette process. The first 3 day public charrette will occur June 15-17, 2011.
