TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
Pursuant to paragraph 4 of the Agreement dated June 25, 2012, between the City of
Crestview and Pleat & Perry, P.A., please accept this as Pleat, Perry & Ritchie, P.A.'s ninety (90)
day notice to terminate the contract with the City of Crestview effective as of today's date.
During said ninety day notice period, Pleat, Perry & Ritchie, P.A. will need to hire J. Jerome
Miller, Of Counsel, to provide continued services to the City of Crestview. Therels no one at our
firm that can provide continued government counsel to the City in light of Mr. Miller moving to his
own firm.
Also, please confirm the City's approval of proceeding during the 90 day termination period
with our firm hiring Mr. Miller to provide the continued service. Otherwise, please let me know if
you will waive the 90 day notice and our firm will cease representing the City of Crestview as of July
1, 2015. Please take whatever steps are needed to ensure that the City has counsel available after
July 1, 2015.

Re: Termination of Contract
Dear Mr. Pleat:
I am in receipt of your letter dated June 23, 2015 in regards to the 90 Day notice of Termination
with the City of Crestview.
Due to Open meetings regulations, our office will be unable to discuss the termination of the
contract with Council members until our regular meeting on July 13, 2015. Therefore, we will
accept the 90 notice from your office, with the understanding that you will be hiring Mr. J
Jerome Miller to continue the services to the City of Crestview as legal counsel.
Our office will advise you as soon as possible of any decisions that are made by the City Council
at that meeting on July 13.
