• RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
• CONTRACT TO JOHN M. CRUIKSHANK CONSULTANTS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
NOT -TO- EXCEED $131,570; FOR THE DESIGN OF DUNCAN AVENUE, LOUISE
AVENUE, OLANDA STREET, AND WRIGHT ROAD, PROJECT NO'S. 4011.67 907,
912, 908 AND 911, RESPECTIVELY; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO
MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS TRANSFERS AND APPROPRIATIONS
WHEREAS, on December 1, 2011, staff released a Request for Proposals
(RFP) soliciting proposals from pre- approved consulting firms for the design of Duncan
Avenue, Project No 4011 67 907, Louise Avenue, Project No 4011 67 912; Olanda
Street, Project No 4011 67 908, and Wright Road, Project No 4011 67 911, and
WHEREAS, four proposals were received by the Office of the City Clerk on
December 29, 2011, and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff has determined that John M. Cruikshank
Consultants, Inc. possesses the best qualifications and expertise to prepare the contract
documents for this project at a fee not -to- exceed $131,570
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. .That the City Council of the City of Lynwood awards a consulting
services contract to John M. Cruikshank Consultants, Inc. in the not -to- exceed amount
of $131,570 for the design of Duncan Avenue, Project No 4011 67 907, Louise Avenue,
Project No 4011 67 912, Olanda Street, Project No 40,11 67 908; and Wright Road,
Project No 4011 67 911
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement between
the City of Lynwood and John M. Cruikshank Consultants, Inc. in a form approved by
the City Attorney
Section 3. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer

Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
Section S . That the City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council resolution.
