A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
THE PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH QUINN POWER SYSTEMS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $11,887.90 FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN EMERGENCY GENERATOR FOR THE
SCADA SYSTEM, PROJECT NUMBER 4011.67.897
WHEREAS, the purchase of an emergency generator for the SCADA System is
part of Project No ' 4011 67 897, and
WHEREAS, on November 2, 2010, the City Council awarded the purchase
contract of said generator to Quinn power Systems for $36,832.10; and
WHEREAS, the permit- process required by the South Coast I Air Quality
Management District has substantially delayed the ordering of this generator; which has
resulted in a manufacturer's cost increase, and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the generator enclosure is necessary for a cost of
$4,500; and
WHEREAS, the purchase order for this generator needs to include the use tax
of 8 75 %.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the purchase order contract for the purchase of an emergency
generator for the SCADA System, Project No 4011 67 897 be amended with
$11,887
Section 2. : This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
