AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 286
REGULATING DEVELOPMENT ACTNITY WITHIN THE
CITY OF MEDINA AND DIRECTING A STUDY TO BE
CONDUCTED THEREON
The City Council of the City of Medina Ordains as follows:
SECTION I:
Ordinance No. 286 regulating development activity within the city of Medina and
directing a study to be conducted thereon is hereby amended by deleting the Stfiekei} language
and adding the highlighted language to section 4.02 thereof as follows:
4.02. Pending completion of the study and the adoption of any amendments to the city's
official controls:
a. It shall be unlawful for any person to undertake, engage in, or cause any
excavation larger than eee five and one-half acres in size within any
wetland that is not a public waters wetland within the meaning of
Minnesota Statutes, section 103G.005, subd. 18.
b. It shall be unlawful for any person to undertake, engage in, or cause the
removal of more than 10,000 cubic yards of soil from any parcel of land.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall take effect the day after the date of its publication.
