Absent: Davis , Hequembourg and Kliegel. A quorum was declared present . Bill 84-180 was road third time by title, placed on final passage, and passed an amended, by the following vote as Ordinance No. 10349 : Aye : Borgmeyer, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Huffman, Nelson and Viessman. ' Nay: None. Absent ; Davis, Hequembourg and Kliegel. Intro. of The next item of business was the introduction of bills. Bills 84-181 Bill 84-181, sponsored by Councilman Hequembourg, entitled: Purchase AN ORDINANCED OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE property MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY. I Mayor Hartsfield stated that the Staff has requested suspension of the rules, and hearing no objections to the request, placed the bill on final passage. (Councilman Davis arrived at this time) 240 . SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING, December 28, 1984 Bill 84-181 was road second and third time by title, placed on final passage, and passed by the following vote as Ordinance No. 10350: Aye: Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg, Huffman, Nelson and Viessman. Nay: Davis. Councilman Borgmeyer moved that the Council accept the Accept Bid recommendation of the Staff to award the bid to The Dickens Company for professional services as a public information consultant, motion was seconded by Councilman Gordon, and the motion was approved by the following roll-call vote at the request of Councilman Halsey: Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Nelson and Viessman. Nay: Haake, Halsey and Huffman. Councilman Halsey requested more information from The Dickens Company at the next Council meeting before placing Bill 84-182 on final passage. Bill 84-182, sponsored by Councilman Hequembourg, entitled: 84-182 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE Information MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE DICKENS Consultant COMPANY FOR THE DESIGN AND COORDINATION OF INFORMATIONAL Contract CAMPAIGNS. Bill 84-182 was road first and second time by title and ordered distributed to members of the Council. Dill 84-183, sponsored by Councilman Hequembourg, entitled: 84-183 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE Purchase MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY. Bill 84-183 was read second and third time by title, placed on final passage, and passed by the following vote as Ordinance No. 10351 : Ayes Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Huffman, Nelson and Viessman. Nays None. There being no further business, Councilman Gordon moved that the Adjournment meeting be adjourned, motion was seconded by Councilman Viessman, and approved.
