Councilman Borgmeyer requested that the denial of a 20 mile speed limit on Linden be referred back to the Parking & Traffic Committee for reconsideration as he feels it is necessary. Mayor Hartsfield asked that Mr. Borgmeyer be notified of that committee's next meeting so that he may attend to present his views . RS84-28 Resolution RS84-28, street lights; Councilman Haake moved to ; Street Lights amend the resolution to "install" street lights instead of "remove" them, motion was seconded, and RS84-28 was approved as amended. RS84-29 Resolution RS84-29, approval of sublease at airport; Councilman Airport Sub- Hequembourg moved that it be approved, motion was seconded by = lease Councilman Haake, and approved. RS84-30 Resolution RS84-30, CDBG grant application; Councilman Nelson `:. CDBG Grant moved that it be approved, motion was seconded by Councilman Viessman, and approved. Footbal Councilman Borgmeyer asked that the City adept resolutions Tears honoring the local high school football teams who will play in the state championships . Fee Election Lyndel Porterfield informed the Council that City funds may be used to inform the public of issues on upcoming vote ballots , and what effect the issues will have, but it may not use funds to try to influence the public' s vote on the issues . Personnel Mr. Porterfield also explained his findings thus far on the File Access Council's questions regarding access to City employee personnel files . Ho stated that the Mayor and City Administrat:or have access at any time, City Counselor may have limited access under certain conditions , and the City Council members ' access is not clearly defined. He suggested that the Council establish a clearly defined policy concerning its access to the files . Firefighters Gary Hamburg reported on proposed changes to the Firefighters ' Work Agreement Work Agreement . Chief Rennick was present to explain the proposals . Councilman Hequembourg moved that the Agreement be approved as presented, motion was seconded by Councilman Viessman, and approved. Adjournment There being no further business, Councilman Nelson moved that the meeting be adjourned, motion was seconded by Councilman Viessman, and approved. Executive Councilman Hequembourg moved that the Council go into Executive Session Session to discuss real estate, personnel and litigation, the motion was seconded by Councilman Gordon, and approved by the following vote: Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis , Gordon, Haake, Hequembourg, Huffman, Nay: None.
