The Special Council Meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M.
Councilman Halsey inquired of the Council if there were any
objections to his presiding over the meeting. Hearing no
objections, Mr. Halsey took the chair.
Prayer was offered by Presiding Officer Halsey.
Present: Borgmoyor, Davis, Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg,
Kliegel, Roark and Viessman.
Absent : Gordon and Lock.
A quorum was declared present.
Chair recognized Councilman Hequembourg, who moved that the
meeting be adjourned until Monday evening, November 21 so that
the Mayor can be present for any discussion pertaining to Mr.
Hamburg's performance as City Administrator, the motion was
seconded by Councilman Viessman. A voice vote was taken on the
motion, and Councilman Halsey stated the voice vote was
insufficient to rule on the motion. At this point of the meeting,
Council Member Lock arrived, and Councilman Halsey asked
Councilman Hequembourg to restate his motion for Ms . Lock's
benefit. Councilman Hequembourg restated the motion, Councilman
Viessman restated his second to the motion, and Councilman
Hequembourg requested a roll call vote. The motion was approved
by the following vote:
Aye : Borgmoyor, Haake, Hequembourg, Kliegol and Viessman.
Nay: Davis, Halsey, Lock and Roark.
Councilman Halsey announced that the meeting wan adjourned.
