The motion was seconded by Councilman Davis and approved by a voice. vote. s, . 64 • Bill 83-139, sponsored by Councilman Viessman, entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9626 AND ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO PERTAINING TO PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS BY DELETING CERTAIN SECTIONS AND ENACTING NEW SECTIONS. • Councilman Viessman moved to amend Bill 83-139 to stipulate that personnel who receive a C grade or better in a course directly relating to their job receive 75% compensation for that course, and a C grade or better in a course indirectly relating to their job, but required for a degree, receive 50% compensation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Halsey, and approved. • Bill 83-139 was read third time by title, placed on final passage, and passed as amended, as Ordinance No. 10093: Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg, Kliegel, Lock and Viessman. Nay: None. Bill 83-140, sponsored by Councilman Roark, entitled: 83-140 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE Park Board MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE JEFFERSON CITY Agreement; PARK BOARD. Bill 83-140 was read third time by title, placed on final passage, and passed by the following vote as Ordinance No. 10094: Aye: Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg, Kliegel and Viessman. Nay: Borgmeyer, Davis and Lock. Councilman Borgmeyer stated that he wished to commend the Staff for the "most legible" City budget in the City's history.
