A Special Council Meeting was called to order at 6:45 P.M. with Call to
Mayor Hartsfield presiding. Order
The following Council Members were present: Roll Call
Present: Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg, Huffman, Nelson and
Viessman.
Absent: Borgmeyer, Davis , Gordon and Kliegel.
A quorum was declared present
The first item of business was introduction of bills . Initroduction
of Bills
Bill 84-121, sponsored by Councilman Halsey, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING AND 84-121
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE ON FAA Grant
BEHALF OF SAID CITY A CONTRACT WITH THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR A GRANT RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT
OF THE JEFFERSON CITY MEMORIAL AIRPORT TO BE FUNDED UNDER AIP
PROJECT NUMBER 3-29-0036-03.
Councilman Halsey requested that the rules be suspended and Bill
84-121 placed on final passage.
Bill 84-121 was read second and third time by title, placed on
final passage, and passed by the following vote as Ordinance
No. 10289:
Aye: Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg, Huffman, Nelson and Viessman.
Nays None
Absent : Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon and Kliegel.
There being no further business, Councilman Vioseman moved that
the meeting be adjourned, the motion was seconded by Councilman
Hequembourg, and approved.
