Mayor Hartsfield reported that the committee which is searching Bus Station for a suitable location for the bus station is now looking at Site property located across from Wallau & Schnieders on W. Resolutions The next item of business was Resolutions. i RS85-18 Resolution RS85-18, the installation of street light at Fredricks Street Light Lane and Fredricks Court; Councilman Viessman moved approval, motion was seconded by Councilman Nelson, and approved. • Relocation of Allen Garner reported to the Council regarding the relocation of Utilities at utilities at the site of the hotel/convention center. Mr. Garner Hotel/Con - stated that the tract of ground in question is public property ;ion Center and that the utilities should relocate at their own cost . : Site Councilman Haake moved that City Administrator Gary Hamburg be • authorized to write each utility company directing each of them to relocate, at their own cost, within sixty days . Motion was II seconded by Councilman Halsey, and approved unanimously by a voice vote. 334 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING, September 3, 1985 Mayor Hartsfield stated that the Finance Department will Budget distribute copies of the 1985-86 budget before the end of the 1985-86 meeting, and suggested that each Council Member take time to read the budget letter and be considering the position of the City's financial status when Revenue Sharing ends in two years . Councilman Halsey distributed the schedule of the budget sessions Budget ! and, after discussion, one date change was made to accomodate the Session best attendance. Those sessions will be held on: September 12, Schedule 1 September 23, September 26 and September 30. Gary Hamburg reported on the status of municipal insurance and Municipal the problems facing municipalities due to the high volume of Insurance claims, resulting in the cancellation of insurance to municipalities by many insurance companies. Mr. Hamburg stated that steps are being taken to establish a risk management program and the consolidation of all insurance-related matters through one person on the Staff to insure greater efficiency in dealing with the City's insurance. Mike Bates reported that he has not received any further Railroad information regarding temporary repairs to the railroad crossing Crossing on on W. McCarty Street . Mr. Bates was directed to call the Railroad W. Mcarty Company to ascertain whether there will be repair crews in the City during the month of September. Mayor Hartsfield called for a recess at 8:20 P.M. Recess The meeting was reconvened at 8: 30 P.M. , at which time copies of Reconvention the 1985-86 budget were distributed. There being no further Budget business, Councilman Viessman moved that the meeting be Distributi adjourned, motion was seconded by Councilman Nelson, and approved. Adjournmen }
