Laidlaw wanted to provide a free trial of their cart system to each council member for a thirty-day period. Rai.lron Trail New Business New Business : Development Councilman Gordon moved to request that the Housing Authority and of riverfront Parks and Recreation Commission report to the Council by the first meeting in September, the possibility of developing the forty to fifty acres at the end of Jefferson Street into a riverfront park/marina area. Councilman Halsey seconded the motion and it was approved. Cable Televiei ouncilman Voile informed the Council that the Cable Television Audit Committee would be meeting on Monday, August 11, 1986 to review the material they have compiled and determine how to proceed. Councilman Halsey asked if the City ever received the audit it had requested several months ago from TCI Cablevision. The audit has not been received to date and Councilman Halsey moved that TCI provide the City with a certified audit by mid September of just the Jefferson City franchise . Councilman Nelson seconded I the motion and it was approved.
