The next item of bun.ineon wan Resolutions : Resolutions Resolution It;85-10, Street Lights ; Councilman Halsey moved that RS85-10 it be approved, motion was seconded by Councilman Haake, and Street Lights approved. The next item on the agenda was Unfinished Business , discussion Unfinished of a location for the bus station. Councilman Haake explained Business that after speaking with the Council Members, the consensus of the Council seems to be in favor of the City's constructing a Bus Station building to lease to the bus company. Sharon Menne from Trailways was present and informed the Council that her company would be in agreement with such an arrangement . Ms . Menne was asked to contact the Kincaid Bus Company and report back to the Council Kincaid's willingness to cooperate with the arrangement . The Council signified by voice vote their approval of pursuance of further steps needed to bring a proposal back to the Council for final action. The next item on the agenda, under New Business, was the Appoint- recommendation of Gary Hamburg and Mike Bates of Ms. Bonnie Hubert ment of for the Engineering Supervisor position. Mr. Bates explained Ms . Engineering Supervisor } I , l •3d5 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING June 17 Hubert's qualifications, after which Councilman Borgmeyer moved that her appointment be approved, motion was seconded by Councilman Halsey, and approved. urgency Councilman Veile asked Chief Patton to explain procedures used Sirens when emergency storm sirens are utilized in the City, and stated that he had had numerous calls regarding the lack of information available to local radio stations from the Police Department during the storm on the evening of June 16. Adjournment There being no further business , Councilman Nelson moved that the Council go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing Executive litigation, motion was seconded by Councilman Borgmeyer, and Session approved by the following vote: Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis, Haake, Halsey, Huffman, Nelson, Veile, and Woodman Nay: None. - 3 r r 1
