A quorum was declared present. - The first item of business was a public hearing pertaining to a Public Hearing yx request submitted by Jefferson City Housing Authority to rezone Rezoning 14 property from C-2 (general commercial), to C-4 (planned Mulberry St. commercial) in the area of Mulberry St. No persons present wished ,. to speak in favor or in opposition to the proposed rezoning. Mayor Hartsfield declared that the public hearing was concluded. -fsX: The next item of business was presentation from the gallery. Conmend Members of the Jefferson City Police Department were present to Police receive a certificate of appreciation from Police Chief Lawrence officers Patton on behalf of the Mayor and City Council for their efforts in apprehending a rape/burglar suspect.
