Absent: None.
A quorum was declared present.
- The first item of business was a public hearing pertaining to a Public Hearing
yx request submitted by Jefferson City Housing Authority to rezone Rezoning
14 property from C-2 (general commercial), to C-4 (planned Mulberry St.
commercial) in the area of Mulberry St. No persons present wished ,.
to speak in favor or in opposition to the proposed rezoning.
Mayor Hartsfield declared that the public hearing was concluded.

The next item of business was presentation from the gallery. Conmend
Members of the Jefferson City Police Department were present to Police
receive a certificate of appreciation from Police Chief Lawrence officers
Patton on behalf of the Mayor and City Council for their efforts
in apprehending a rape/burglar suspect. Many members who accepted
the certificates donated volunteer time in this effort .

Councilman Vieasman moved that the Consent Agenda be approved as
presented, the motion was seconded by Councilman Uequembourg,

Gary Hamburg stated he .is trying to arrange a trip to Hannibal
and Cape Girardeau for any interested Council members to discuss
their charter commissions and compare to Jefferson City.
The next item of business was Resolutions : Resolutions
RS84-2 - Gross Receipts Utility Tax; The Council wished this RS84-2
Resolution held over until such time the corresponding Council GRUT
Bill is brought up for vote.

Donate documents and document file cabinets to the Historical Society.
Old Documents Councilman Hequembourg moved that the City donate the records ,
to Historical the motion was seconded by Councilman Viessman, and approved.

Adjournment There being no further business , Councilman Gordon moved that the
meeting be adjourned to Executive Session for the purpose of
Executive discussing real estate and litigation, the motion was seconded by
Session Councilman Davis, and approved by the following vote:
Litigation & Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg,
Real. Estate Huffman, Kliegel, Nelson and Viessman.
Nay: None.
