SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING Febru, 28 1984

? A Special Council Meeting was called to order at 5:15 P.M. with Call to
President Pro Tem Craig Davis presiding. Order
The following Council Members were present: Roll Call
Present: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Haake, Hequembourg,
Huffman, Nelson and Viessman.
Absent: Halsey and Kliegel.
A quorum was declared present.
The first item of business was the Consent Agenda, which included Consent
the following bid: Agenda
z; Bid 610 - Hoover Industrial Site, Planning & Code.
Councilman Nelson moved that the Consent Agenda be approved as
presented, motion was seconded by Councilman Viessman, and
approved.
The next item of business was the introduction of bills. Introduction
of Bills
Bill 84-218, sponsored by Councilman Viessman, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE 84-218
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH of • S Hoover
004 VATING CO., INC., FOR SITE DEVELOPMENT OF THE RAILTON Industrial
INDUSTRIAL PARK - HOOVER UNIVERSAL SITE. Site
Councilman Viessman requested that the rules be suspended and
Dill 84-218 placed on final passage.
Bill 84-210 was rend second and third time by title, p]accd on
final passage, and passed by t e following vote as Ordinance No.
10370:
Ayes Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Make, Hogtx rbourg, Huffman,
Nelson and Vieseman.
Nay: None.
The next item of business was pending bills. Pending Bills
Bill 84-198, sponsored by Councilman Hequembourg, entitled: 84-198
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, Rezoning
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING LAND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE 3400
AND 3500 BLOCK OF NORTH TEN MILE DRIVE FROM C-4 (PLANNED
COMMERCIAL) TO M-1 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) AND BY REZONING LAND ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF THE 3400 AND 3500 BLOCKS OF NORTH TEN MILE DRIVE
FROM C-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) TO M-1 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL).
Bill 84-198 was read third time by title, placed on final
passage, and passed by the following vote as Ordinance No. 10371:
Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Heake, Hequembourg, Huffman,
Nelson and Viessman.
Nays None.
There being no further business, Councilman Borgmeyer moved that Adjournment
the meeting be adjourned, motion was seconded by Councilman
Gordon, and approved.
