SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING, January 28, 1985
Call to A special Council Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. with
Order Mayor Hartsfield presiding.
Roll Call The following Council Members were present :
Present: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Haake, Halsey,
Hequembourg, Huffman, Nelson and Viessman.
Absent: Kliegel.
A quorum was declared present.
Executive Councilman Hequembourg moved that the Council go into Executive
Session Session for the purpose of discussing personnel, the motion was
seconded by Councilman Viessman, and approved by the following
vote:
Aye: Borgmeyer, Davis, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Hequembourg,
Huffman, Nelson and Viessman.
Nay: None.
The Council reconvened in open session at 8:00 P.M. with Mayor
Hartsfield presiding.
Capital Each Department Director made a printed and oral presentation of
Irrprovnts its Capital Improvements Projects to the Council. Each
Projects presentation was discussed by the Council. Mr. Mike Riley,
Attorney at Law, was present to speak on behalf of the Parks and
Recreations Department's Capital Improvements Project. He stated
that if the fee increase issue passes in the April election, the
Park Board would only need to ask the City for $100, 000 in
additional funding over and above revenues generated by the fee
increases .
Adjournment There being no further business , Councilman Viessman moved the
meeting be adjourned, motion was seconded by Councilman Nelson,
and approved.
