A Special Council Meeting of February 5, 1990, was called to order
at 7:00 P.M. with Mayor Louise Gardner presiding.
The following Council Members were present: 5
h Present: Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Mason, Owens, Scheulen, Veils, and !1
Woodman.

Absent: Davis and Feldman.
A quorum was declared present.

CITY FLAG:
Mayor Gardner presented to the Council the final three choices for
a City flag. The Council was asked to vote for their first choice,
second choice and third choice. The results of the first vote were
as follows: ;i
i Four ballots for - A, C, B
Three ballots for - C, A, 13
One ballot for - C, B, A

A vote taken between "A" and "C" again resulted in a tie vote. After '
some discussion the Council voted once again. The finals results

wore as follows:
Six ballots for - "A"
Two ballots for - "C"
Entry "A" was declared the first place winner, Entry "C" the second
place winner and Entry "B" the third place winner.
As there was no further items on the Agenda, Councilman Owens moved
the meeting be adjourned. Councilman Gordon seconded the motion and

it was approved. The Special Meeting was adjourned at approximately t
