Benefits Fair: May 13-14,2014 ■ 2 05/15/2014 IFY Employee Benefits Health Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia POS Access Plan Dental Insurance: Guardian High and Low Option Life Insurance: Greater Georgia Life-$25,000 Policy Long Term Disability: Guardian • These benefits are paid by the City of Tybee Island for the employee at 100%. • Dependents can be added to the health and dental for a semi-monthly cost. k;l • Extra life and vision insurance can be purchased for employees and dependents as well. ■ Employee Benefits Retirement/Pension Georgia Municipal Association An employee has to be employed for 1 full year before applying for this benefit. The City of Tybee Island contributes 100%. An employee is not considered fully vested until he/she reaches his/her 10th year. An employee can be partially vested at 50% on their 5th year anniversary, 60% on their 6th year anniversary, etc. 3 05/15/2014 Employee Benefits The following supplemental insurances are offered by the City of Tybee Island: Aflac Boston Mutual Colonial Life Lanierland Insurance Agency,Inca MetLife Nationwide LegalShield Services Lifestyle Management Resources is our EAP provider. Employee Benefits Fact 2014-2015 Benefit Hourly Rate: $6.17 per hour rased on Salary of $26,603 with WC rate of $3.;7. A City of Tybee employee should add another $6.17 per hour for benefits to their current hourly rate.
