The following Council Members were present: Present: Feldman, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Owens, Scheulen, t:- Vincent, Woodman, and Wrigley. �{ Absent: Mason. A quorum was declared present. +- .;= Mayor Gardner announced the purpose of this Special Council Meeting was for to consider Dill 91-23 dealing with surplus property, Resolution 91-7 regarding submission of an application to the Division of Workers' Compensation for self-funded program, and the possible change in date for the June 17 Council Meeting. DILLS PENDING: h II ill 91-23 , sponsored by Councilman (Halsey, entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CER'T'AIN PROPERTY TO ME SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID PROPERTY. Councilman Halsey moved Bill 91-23 by amended by substituting the attached lint of surplus property for the lint distributed in the May 31 Council packet. Councilman Wrigley seconded the motion and it was approved by the following vote: Aye: Feldman, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Mason, Owens, Scheulen, Vincent, Woodman, and Wrigley. Nay: None. Bill 91-23 was read third time by title, placed on final passage, and passed by the following vote as Ordinance No. 11589 . Aye: Feldman, Gordon, Haake, Halsey, Mason, Owens, Scheulen, Vincent, Woodman, and Wrigley. Nay: None. RESOLUTIONS: Councilman Haake moved approval of Resolution 91-7 authorizing the submission of an application to the Division of Workers' Compensation for the establishment of a self-funded workers' { compensation insurance program. Councilman Halsey seconded the motion and it was approved. • 111 • SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING, JUNE 11, 1991 1; NEW BUSINESS: Mayor Gardner announced that several of the Council members had to be out of town on June 17 and had requested the Council Meeting be rescheduled. Councilman Haake moved the June 17 Council Meeting be rescheduled to June 24. Councilman Woodman seconded the motion and it was approved. ADJOURN: As there was no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Halsey moved the Special Council Meeting be adjourned. Councilman Haake seconded the motion and it was approved.
