Mayor Gardner called the Executive Session to order to discuss pending litigation.
. City Counselor Allen Garner discussed the case involving Ewing Mueller, of al. vs.
• City of Jefferson, Cole County Circuit Court, Case No. CV191-1123, Division II.
Councilman Hanka moved that Mr. Garner be authorized to settle with plaintiffs,
amount not to exceed $8,000, second by Councilman Halsey and approved :
. unanimously.
City Counselor Allen Garner brought the Council up-to-date on Kauffman Excavating
vs. City of Jefferson, Cole County Circuit Court, Case No. CV189-1231CC
•
(Southridge). Councilman Gordon moved that Mr. Garner be authorized to settle
with Kauffman Excavating, amount not to exceed $15,000, second by Councilman
•
Halsey and approved unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Executive Session, the meeting
adjourned at 8:10 a.m.
