The Special Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Louise Gardner at 7:30 '
p.m. to discuss Resolution RS93-7, endorsing the Becker Gaming Group as the !t
primary riverboat operator for the City of Jefferson. Councilman Halsey asked if the
Becker Gaming Group was contemplating asking for any type of assistance ikom the
City, State or Federal governments. Dave Brydon, representing the Becker Gaming
'! Group, stated there were no plans to seek financial assistance.
Councilman Nilges moved to approve Resolution RS93-7, second by Councilman
Green. Councilman Green moved to amend Resolution RS93-7 by accepting the t
changes requested by City Counselor Allen Garner, motion was seconded by +{
Councilman Bertel and approved by the following roll-call vote: j
Aye: Benton, Hertel, Byrd, Estes, Green, Haake, and Nilges
Nay: Halsey
