SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING, OCTOBER 21, 1993
The Special City Council meeting called to order by Mayor Louise Gardner at 8:15 p.m.
PRESENT: Mayor Gardner, Benton, Bertel, Byrd, Estes-Benward,
Green, Haake, Niles and Wrigley
ABSENT: Bemskoetter and Halsey
A quorum was declared present.
STAFF: City Administrator Dave Johnston

Finance Director Bette Wordelman
Planning and Code Enforcement Director Keith DeVault
Acting Public Works Director Marty Brose

INFORMAL CALENDAR
Bill 93-106, sponsored by Councilman Nilges, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ADOPTING A BUDGET
AND PERSONNEL CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR THE CITY FOR THE PERIOD OF
NOVEMBER 1, 1993, TO OCTOBER 31, 1994, AND APPROPRIATING MONEY IN
THE CITY TREASURY TO PAY THE COST OF OPERATING THE CITY
GOVERNMENT DURING THAT PERIOD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BUDGET.
Councilman Nilges requested that Bill 93-106 be brought from the informal Calendar
and considered for approval as amended and recommended by the Finance
Committee. Bill 93-106 was read by title, placed on final passage and passed by the
II following vote as Ordinance 11988:
Aye: Benton, Bertel, Byrd, Estes-Benward, Green, Haake, Nilges and
Wrigley
Nay: None
Councilman Byrd moved for adjournment; second by Councilman Bertel and motion
was approved. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.

request by TCI to rebuild their entire system in Jefferson City and to extend their i#
