Councilman Estes-Benward requested that Bill 94-135 be removed from the Informal

council liaison until such time as the mayor nominates, and council confirms, someone

RS94-33, Recognition of Jefferson City Jays Football Team. Councilman Byrd
explained that he had contacted as many council members as were available to ask
that Resolution RS94-33 be approved prior to tonight's meeting so it could be
presented, with a December 19 passage date, to the Jays at a banquet which was held
• in their honor December 15. He stated that none of the Council members contacted
L objected, and therefore the resolution had already been presented to the Jays.
Councilman Byrd moved that the resolution be officially adopted at this time, seconded
by Councilman Bertel, and approved.
