A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA
CONSULTING, LLC TO PROVIDE GRANT WRITING SERVICES
WHEREAS, staff was approached by California Consulting, LLC to provide grant
writing services, and
- WHEREAS, there is a high quantity of grant opportunities available to cities and
specifically many that are currently available to meet the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, California Consulting, LLC has been able to secure over $1 4 billion
in state and federal competitive grants for its clients, and
WHEREAS, the cost for this service is $48,000 for a one year grant period
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY'RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS.
Section 1. The City Council approves California Consulting LLC to provide
grant writing services to the City
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a one -year agreement with
California Consulting LLC approved as to form by the City Attorney
Section 3 . This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
