➢ Runway Seal Coat Grant Application Submitted, Grant Award Anticipated

has been rescheduled to late September, Early October. The contractor,
Curtis Clean Sweep is agreeable to this timing.
➢ A plan to utilize taxiway "A" as a temporary runway is being reviewed by
the FAA. Included in the safety plan will be a NOTAM that defines
aircraft that can use the temporary runway.
➢ LPV Survey, field work completed. FAA will now evaluate approaches to
both runway ends. It will likely be spring or summer of 08 before we
could anticipate LPV approach(s) being published. It will also be summer
08 before a GPS based departure procedure is published that will permit
us to decommission the NDB.
