A RESOLUTION OF THE 'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
°AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND,
TRANSFER UNAPPROPRIATED WATER FUNDS TO THE NEW WATER WELL NO.
11 REABILITATION PROJECT, ADOPT THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
AND WORKING DETAILS FOR THE WATER WELL NO 11 REHABILITATION
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS'
ENGINEERING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, Water Well No 11 needs to be rehabilitation, and
WHEREAS, the estimated project cost for said project is $156,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the ,City of Lynwood has
determined that the Water Well No 11, Rehabilitation Project is in accordance with the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt pursuant to
Section 15301 (C) of the CEQA Guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions, and
WHEREAS, the Project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS'
Section 1. That the New Water Well No 11 Rehabilitation Project is in
accordance with Section15301 (c) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
and is categorically exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopts the Plans,
Specifications and Working Details for the New Water Well No 11 Rehabilitation
Project.
Section 3. ' That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the
solicitation of bids through the informal bidding process for said project.
Section 4. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to appropriate and
transfer funds.

Section 5. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately, upon its adoption
Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify as,to the adoption of this Resolution
PASSED, APPROVED and'ADOPTED this 21 day of February, 2012.
