A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR
EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS FOR MANAGEMENT LEVEL
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Lynwood has the authority to
implement Government Code Section 20691, and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Lynwood has a written labor policy
or agreement which specifically provides for the member contributions to be paid
by the employer; and
WHEREAS, one of the steps in the procedures to implement Section 20691 is
the adoption by the governing body of the City of Lynwood of a Resolution to
commence said Employer Paid Member Contributions (EPMC), and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Lynwood has identified the
following conditions for the purpose of its election to pay EPMC
• This benefit shall apply to all management - level, confidential, at -will, and
Management Bargaining Group (MBG) employees
• The City of Lynwood will pay 6% EPMC for all management - level,
confidential, at -will, and MBG employees hired on or before December 31,
2010
• The City of Lynwood will continue to pay 0% EPMC for all employees
hired on after January 1, 2011
This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. That the governing body of the City of Lynwood elects to pay EPMC
as set forth above
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood is hereby directed to certify the
passage and adoption of this Resolution
