On a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Eckhoff, authorization was
granted to the Fire Dept. to sell a 1930 Model A fire truck. Carried.
The Primary Road Extension Maintenance and Operation agreement
with the Iowa State Highway Commission was approved on a motion by
Huisman, seconded by Eckhoff, Carried.
The Proposed 1972 Budget for the Town of Wellsburg was approved
for publication with August 9, 1971, set as the date for public hear-
ing of said budget on a motion by Huisman, seconded by Eckhoff,
Carried.
On a motion by Huisman, seconded by Hipper, the salaries of Aeilt
Terfehn and Herman DeVries be set at $500 per month beginning August
1, 1971. Roll call of votes: Ayes-Huisman, Eckhoff, Hipper. Nays -
None. Abstained -Van Deest. Absent-Claassen. Carried.
Following a motion by Huisman, seconded by Hipper, the meeting
stood adjourned.
