CfCCHESE NOTARY PUBLIC - MINNESOTA My Commission Expires Jan. 31, 2000 CITY OF MEDINA ORDINANCE #►302 A COMPREHENSIVE REVISION OF THE CITY'S ORDINANCE RELATED TO EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS Public Notice The -city council. of the City of Medina has adopted • Ordinance No. 302. The ordinance amends section 206.01 et seq. of the city's code of ordinances regarding emer- gency preparedness in the case of natural or other disas- ters. The ordinance defines the types of emergencies which are intended to be covered and authorizes the mayor to appoint a director of emergency services. The director is authorized to take specific actions during an emergency after declaration by the mayor and to coordi- nate efforts •with neighboring 'communities through mutual aid. The ordinance was prepared in consultation with numerous other communities in the Lake Minnetonka area and virtually identical versions of the ordinance have been or will be adopted in all member communities. The full text of Ordinance No. 302 is avail- able for inspection at Medina city hall during regular busi- ness hours.
