Adjournment to January 1, 1996 r r Commission Minutes For November 6, 1996 The City of Lynwood Youth Commission met in session at 6 01 p.m at the Lynwood Community Transit Center, located at 3798 Martin Luther King, Jr Boulevard, Lynwood Chairperson Zavala presided ROLL CALL Commissioners Zavala, Acosta, McZeal, Wroten, Hardin and Brown answered roll call. Commissioner Hampton did not answer roll call. CERTIFICATION OF THE POSTING OF THE AGENDA Mark Flores certified the posting of the agenda. APPROVAL OF THE PAST MINUTES Approval of the past minutes of october 1996 were moved to be passed by Commissioner McZeal and seconded by Mercado. PROGRAM REPORTS Recreation and Community Services Dorothy Siddell discussed the City's Christmas activities as well as January Basketball Tourny GENERAL REPORTS Commissioners decided to attend the commissioners banquet, and participate in the Tree Decorating contest. NEW PROGRAM IDEAS Commissioners were asked to volunteer at the Community Services Day City event. Public Orals There were no new public orals STAFF ORALS NONE ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Acosta moved that the meeting be adjourned to the next regularly scheduled Youth Commission Meeting and seconded by Commissioner McZeal All in favor. Meeting adjourned at 6 50 p m. I4
