The City of Lynwood is proud to announce the debut and grand opening of the Lynwood Certified Farmers Market on Tuesday, December 3, 1996. The market will be open every Tuesday from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m at Mervyn Dymally Park An array of fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, shrimp, crab, nuts, and baked goods will be available for sale from various vendors. 10. The Contest is made possible through the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation and the Pepsi Cola Company This year boys and girls bom between the years of 1981 and 1988 are eligible to participate. The contest tests a child's speed, dribbling, shooting, and rebounding skills. There are eight categories of competition in four separate age groups. The age groups are listed as follows: Group (1) Children born 1987 and 1988 Group (2): Children born 1985 and 1986 Group (3): Children born 1983 and 1984 Group (4): Children born 1981 and 1982 Agency Championships will be held Wednesday and Thursday, December 18 and 19, at 6 p.m. at the Lynwood Community Center Gymnasium, 3798 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
