PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret Tax Assessor's Office
reviewed the assessed values of Block 2101 Lot 8 and
discovered that an assessed value was incorrectly reported in
the 2012 tax duplicate, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor made the necessary adjustment to the
2013 tax rolls to properly reflect the correct assessment, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that taxes for 2012
be cancelled accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey,
that the Tax Collector cancel the 2012 taxes in the amount of
$5,960.61.
