Minutes: May 22, 1996 II PUBLIC ORALS IIL BOARD MEMBER'S ORALS IV ADJOURNMENT Next Meeting -July 24, 1996 • MINUTES LAW ENFORCEMENT REVIEW BOARD Meeting of May 22, 1996 The meeting of the Law Enforcement Review Board was held on May 22, 1996 in the City Hall, Council Chambers. (The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act.) The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p. m. by Vice - Chairperson Henry Guidry Pledge of allegiance was conducted by Commissioner Irene Garcia. ATTENDANCE Board Members in attendance were: Hilano Esparza, Irene Garcia, Henry Guidry and David Willis. Councilmembers present: None Staff members in attendance: Deborah Jackson. Sheriff Liaison in attendance: Sgt. Walters PUBLIC ORALS Sgt. Walters introduced himself to the Board as the new Sheriff Liaison. BOARD MEMBER'S ORALS Commissioner Garcia expressed great concern with the gangs on Norton Ave. and believes that the curfew law should be enforced Commisioner Guidry discussed a shooting at the intersection of Bradfield Ave. and Carlin Ave. Commisioner Willis discussed a problem with his neighbor's dog and also with vehicles speeding around the area ADJOURNMENT The meeting of the Lmv Enforcement Review Board was adjourned at 6.40 p.m. to the June 26, 1996 meeting.
