Attendees: Allan Morrison, Eric McCormick, Roger Snodgrass, Paul Stover, Ken Stearns, Lynne Edwards-Swanson, Kristin Christensen, Rita Bolli
Rita made a motion that we accept the June 2016 minutes. Kristin seconded the motion, and it passed.
Eric’s Report: Most of the new windows for the clubhouse have been installed. The doors arrived, but the hardware was missing. The new lift pump for the Aspen #5 bathroom should arrive
tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be installed by the weekend. Crack sealing of the cart paths is continuing, and we hope to be finished soon. We are also working to repair damaged areas
around some of the cart paths.
Allan reported that revenue for this year continues to surpass last year’s record numbers. Ladies’ Amateur numbers are up. The Men’s Amateur field is full. The McCall Pro-Am will be
August 8 and 9. August will be a very busy month with several tournaments scheduled. Restaurant revenue is up over last year. A new deck cover has been installed to help shade outside
seating.
Rita had a question about whether reduced yearly passes would be available in August like they were last year. There was discussion. The topic was tabled until the August meeting.
Eric said that the rain-check policy is being reviewed by the city attorney. As a result, the city council has yet to approve or not approve the policy.
Ideas for course improvement: The Men’s Association would like to take over the advertising on the tee-box signs. They would also like to have the Aspen #6 green rebuilt/enlarged. They
would like to see a permanent restroom be built on the Birch nine. Eric would like to build a lightning shelter(s) on the course. Eric plans to widen the Ladies’ tee on Birch #8. He
also plans to extend the practice green. Rita would like to see new tee markers.
The next scheduled meeting is August 10th at 4p.m.
