All equipment is running well, and the new LOT purchased sprayer arrived. Vole damage repair is starting to take hold. The new clubhouse windows should be arriving soon. An Idaho Power grant will help with the window costs. We did some repair to the lean-to shed on the west side of the clubhouse. We replaced the chain link with a cedar fence and stained it so that it looks nice. Some cart path repair is scheduled to begin soon. A new drain will be installed to help with drainage on the new Aspen #1 green. Allan reported that 312 men have signed up for the Best-Ball Tournament. The Senior Match-Play will have around 68 participants. The Hawkins Tournament will be over the July 4th weekend. Last year this group donated 10 thousand dollars to community charities. June revenue figures are very good. The restaurant is running at full staff. The main topic for this meeting was “McCall Golf Course Rules and Regulations.” The first area of discussion was the “Rain Check Policy.” Roger would like for us to endorse a policy so it can be taken to the City Council for acceptance. With this in mind, he passed out a handout containing two proposals. Discussion followed. It was suggested adding a “no cash refund” statement to the policy. Kristin made a motion that we endorse the rain check policy that was on the bottom of Roger’s handout and that it include “no cash refund” as an addition. Rita seconded that motion, and it passed. “Pace of Play” was the next area of discussion. Some changes to the current policy were suggested. One proposed addition was “The marshal or golf staff has the authority to move forward or remove players for slow play.” Under “Inappropriate Behavior”, it was suggested that practice areas should be considered part of the golf course. Under “Dress Code”, the group felt that pants/shorts/ skirts should be included. Under the title of “Other Restrictions”, electric carts should be changed to golf carts. The rule dealing with persons and bags should only apply to rental carts. Eric would like to see a rule that all carts should be on cart paths around the tees and greens. Rita made a motion that the group accept the “Rules and Regulations” as amended by the group. Lynne seconded that motion. It passed. Allan was given the job of typing up the new rules and e-mailing them to the group. The next scheduled meeting is July 13 at 4p.m. Meeting was adjourned.
