MCGAC Minutes of Meeting
June 12, 2013
Attending: Robyn Grove, JJ Johnson, Bob Giles, Eric McCormick, Allan Morrison, Gene Drabinski, and Bob Thackeray.
Bob Giles called the meeting to order.
The minutes from the May meeting were approved.
Course Superintendent Report:
Eric McCormick submitted the May superintendent’s report by email (attached).
Golf Professional’s Report:
Allan Morrison discussed upcoming tournaments and events. The restaurant is now featuring a new cook and staff, and will have a new menu shortly. A YTD financial report (attached) was
submitted; current total YTD revenue is $162,000+, about $9,500 ahead of last year’s pace.
Old Business:
Online Tee Time Reservations- Allan stated that this will be activated on the website today. This will give the customer the option of reserving a time up to 14 days later. Credit card
charges will be made to cancellations within 48 hours of the tee time. Any advertising revenue generated will go to the city.
New Business:
Bob Thackeray is volunteering to serve on the committee, subject to city approval. One more member is needed. Election of officers will be at the October meeting.
The meeting was adjourned. Next meeting is scheduled Wednesday, July 10, at 5:00 PM.
