MGAC Minutes of Meeting
September 11, 2013
Attending: Ron Noble, JJ Johnson, Bob Thackeray, Eric McCormick, Allan Morrison, and Gene Drabinski.
Ron Noble called the meeting to order.
The minutes from the August meeting were approved.
Course Superintendent Report:
Eric McCormick submitted the August superintendent’s report by email (attached). A general discussion was held pertaining to plans for the rest of the year, including punching and sanding
greens, state certification of wells, and obtaining IGA ratings for the gold (forward) tees. Plans are being made to build new women’s tee boxes on Aspen 4, Birch 3, and Birch 9,.with
financial assistance from the Men’s and Women’s Associations.
Golf Professional’s Report:
Allan Morrison discussed recent and upcoming tournaments and events. A YTD financial report (attached) was submitted; total YTD revenue at the end of August is $494,000. Projected revenue
at the end of the fiscal year is $552,900. He has hired a new chef for the restaurant.
City Manager- Gene Drabinski is seeking volunteers to assist with the development of a 10-year capital improvement project.

The Women’s Association has voted LaVonne Kingsford as the new representative, replacing Robyn Grove.
The meeting was adjourned. Next meeting is scheduled Wednesday, October 9, at 5:00 PM.
