MCGAC Minutes of Meeting
April 17, 2013
Members attending: Robyn Grove, JJ Johnson, Bob Giles, and Eric McCormick
Bob Giles called the meeting to order.
The minutes from the March 20 meeting were corrected and approved as corrected.
Course Superintendent Report
Eric McCormick submitted the March superintendent’s report by email (attached).
Greens: Major problems have developed on several greens. The city has approved an expenditure of
$20,000 to immediately buy sod and re‐sod these greens. These are Aspen 3 and 4; Birch 2,6,9. This
work will start next week; greens are expected to be playable by Memorial Day. Eric will request $5,000
from the Man’s Club to help offset this expense.
Restaurant: The new stove/oven is installed in the kitchen; other painting and cleaning is progressing.
Old Business
Board Membership: Eric reported that the newspaper will be listing the vacancies, JJ reported
that John Cady will be submitting a letter to the city.
The meeting was adjourned. Next meeting is scheduled Wednesday, May 8, at 5:00 PM.
