Minutes - Golf Advisory 4-12-06April 12, 2005 GOLF ADVISORY MEETING Roll Call 5:30 Roger Snodgrass Dari Mckim Bob Giles Hank McCauley Allan Morrison Jerry Palmerton Old Business: March minutes reviewed and approved with a majority vote as written. New Business: Allan: Carpet to include finishing of bathrooms which is not part of the original bid. Men’s and Women’s Club to help cover costs above original bid to finish these areas. Jerry: Title search on existing property came back with no restrictions placed on the property that would inhibit the city from selling this property to fund the build out across the street for a new maintenance facility. Plans for a new building are not back yet with cost estimate. Budget season is beginning and wanted feedback on where the committee sits on the first cuts to be made if expenses are above revenues. General feedback was to do something that does not allow for a rate increase for 2007. More discussion after first draft is submitted and returned. LOT Requests: Roger stated that LOT requests need to be in by the end of April. Discussions commenced on what the golf course staff and committee feel are priorities on the needs of the facility and property. Agreed upon this: Request from Golf Advisory Board: Labor to consist of 3 people for 4 months with the option of 3 months if needed. $14K. Request from Staff: Equipment consisting of 2 utility vehicles and a debris blower for a total of $26K. Adjourned 7:30.
