The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Bell called the meeting to order at 5:09 p.m. Roll call was taken by Gail Black, Director of Human Resources. Commissioners Swift and Gilpen were absent. Commissioners Bell, Litke and Lewis were present. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Gail Black APPROVAL OF MINUTES The motion was made by Commissioner Lewis and seconded by Commissioner Litke to approve the minutes of the meeting of May 19, 1994. All in favor. Motion carried STUDIES & REPORTS The motion was made by Commissioner Lewis and seconded by Commissioner Litke to approve the eligibility list for the position of Code Enforcement officer All in favor. Motion carried. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Ms. Black informed the commission that Commissioner Swift withdrew his name for Council consideration of reappointment. Mr Swift informed the Council at the May 17 meeting of his decision Council subsequently reappointed Chairperson Bell and appointed Gilda Acosta. Mrs. Acosta will begin her term at the June meeting. ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Lewis made the motion and Commissioner Litke seconded to adjourn to the next regularly scheduled meeting, June 16, 1994 5.00 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried.
