A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND WORKING DETAILS FOR THE
JOSEPHINE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO 4011 67.870, AND
AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS' ENGINEERING STAFF TO
SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, the Josephine Avenue Improvement Project from Long Beach
Boulevard to Bullis Road is listed in the Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year
2011 -2012; and
WHEREAS, the estimated project cost for said project is $573,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said project is in-accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (C) of the CEQA
guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions, and
WHEREAS, the project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. . That the street improvements of the Josephine Avenue
Improvement Project from Long ,Beach Boulevard to Bullis Road, Project No
4011 67 870 is in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and
exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopts the Plans,
Specifications and Working Details for the Josephine Avenue Improvement Project,
Project No 4011 67 870
Section 3. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the
solicitation of bids for said project.
Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6 th day of March, 2012.
