THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING IT TO BE IN THE INTEREST OF
THE PUBLIC WELFARE A...l\ffi SAFETY TO VACATE AND
DISCONTINUE A PORTION OF PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED
PUBLIC LAND IN THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Governing Body of the City of Bel
Aire, Kansas that a request has been made to vacate a portion of previously dedicated
public land; and
WHEREAS, in the interest of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, it is desirable to
vacate and discontinue a portion of the previously dedicated public land to promote the
public welfare and safety of the citizens of Bel Aire, Kansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF
THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1. It is hereby declared to be in the interest of public welfare and safety to
annul, vacate and discontinue a portion of previously dedicated public land as herein after
more fully described.
Section 2. That the portion of previously dedicated public land is annuled,
vacated and discontinued as described as follows:
That portion of 45th Street North Access Road, as platted in Pearson's First
Addition, an addition to Bel Aire, Sedgwick County, Kansas, lying
between the east line of Edgemoor Street and west line of Auburn Street.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the official city newspaper.
