Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading was a great success. There were 97 students enrolled, 70 school-aged and 27 pre-schoolers, compared to a total of 42 last year. These kids read an amazing total of 397
hours of reading, and the total attendance for the 6 weeks in June and July was 673. This program is intended to keep children reading during the summer so their reading levels will
stay at grade level, and I would say that we have succeeded it this goal here in McCall.
