COMMUNITY CABLE ACCESS ADVISORY COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE JUNE 13 1994 MEETING
The regular meeting of the Community Cable Access Advisory Commission of the
City of Lynwood was held June 13, 1994 at the Lynwood Cable Studio
(The Agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act.)
Chairperson A. Ann Fields called the meeting to order at 5.30 P.M.
Commissioners in attendance were Bill Cunningham, A. Ann Fields, Bill Lewis,
Jr., Ada McZeal and Ethel Pacheco.
Staff present were Ron Roberson and Aviva Seabrook.
Commissioner Lewis motioned to approve the minutes of the May 9, 1994,
meeting as stated.
I. SCHEDULED MATTERS
A. Preview of Lynwood Showcase 459
The viewing of Lynwood Showcase 459 included the following
program segments:
1 1994 Easter Egg Hunt
2. 1994 St. Francis Medical Center Nun Run
3. Cable Production Students KNBC -TV Tour
4 Lynwood Florist Shop - Business of the Month
5. Women of the 90's
Commissioner Lewis stated that he liked the music that was used for the

Commissioner Cunningham stated that he liked the program overall.

MINUTES OF THE JUNE 13, 1994 MEETING
I1. Commissioners' /Staff Report
A. Commissioners' Report
Commissioner Mc Zeal reported that the GED Graduation will be
held June 25, 1994, at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Over the years, 981 students have graduated from the GED program.
A letter was written to invite President Bill Clinton to the
graduation. A copy of his written reply will be distributed to
each GED graduate.
Commissioner Lewis announced the Block Watch Captain's
Effective Leadership Seminar on June 25, 1994, from 9 a.m. until
1:00 p.m. Additionally, he mentioned that in July the city will begin
the installation of a new lighting system in selected areas.
Commissioner Fields recommended to have a Lynwood Media
Services booth at the city's outdoor events in the efforts to inform
people about Lynwood Showcase and the cable production
workshop classes. Also, she suggested that the commissioners learn
about video production terminology in a workshop or meeting.
Commissioner Pacheco stated that Sheriffs Station 21 will open
in September. Also, Station 21 pins are being sold for $3 00 each.
Commissioner Cunningham stated that the Seventh -Day Adventist
School will be demolished soon.
