Vice - Chairperson Bill Cunningham called the meeting to order at 5.30 P.M. Commissioners in attendance were Bill Cunningham, Bill Lewis, Jr., Ada McZeal and Ethel Pacheco. Commissioner Ann Fields was absent. Staff present were Johonna Jacobs - Howard, Ron Roberson and Aviva Seabrook. Commissioner Lewis motioned to approve the minutes of the April 11, 1994, meeting with one correction. I. SCHEDULED MATTERS A. Preview of Lynwood Showcase #58 The viewing of Lynwood Showcase 458 included the following program segments: 1 John Byork Pacific Electric Depot Station Dedication 2. Mark Twain Elementary School Career Day 3 St. Francis Medical Center's Senior Luncheon 4 LUSD Special Education Program 5. Women in the 90's Commissioner Lewis suggested that the students use tripods on tight video spots to have a steady shot. Also, he suggested a voice -over welcome for the Lynwood Showcase program introduction. 0 COMMUNITY CABLE ACCESS ADVISORY COMMISSION MINUTES OF THE MAY 9, 1994 MEETING II. Commissioners' /Staff Report A. Commissioners' Report Commissioner Mc Zeal stated that the GED Graduation will be held June 25, 1994 at California State University, Dominguez Hills at 12:00 noon. Also, the Youth Merit Awards will be held June 6, 1994 at the Bateman Hall Auditorium. B. Staff Report Staff person Howard reported that recruiting is taking place for the next Adult Cable Production Workshop session, although a start date has not been set at this rime. Staff person Roberson stated that some students from the previous Adult Cable Production Workshop session have returned to volunteer their time to help videotape City of Lynwood events. THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, THE COMMUNITY CABLE ACCESS ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING WAS ADJOURNED AT 6:10 P.M.
