LAW ENFORCEMENT REVIEW BOARD
Meeting of September 27, 1995
The regular meeting of the Law Enforcement Review Board was held on August 23, 1995, in the
, City Hall Council Chambers. (The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act)
The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Chairperson David Willis.
Pledge of allegiance was conducted by Commissioner Hilario Esparza.
ATTENDANCE
Board Members in attendance were: Elizabeth Dixon, Hilario Esparza, Irene Garcia, Henry
Guidry and David Willis.
Councilmembers present: Councilman Louis Heine
Staff members in attendance: Roger Haley and Tony Romero.
MINUTES
The minutes of the August 22, 1995 regular meeting were read and approved as
distributed.

BOARD MEMBER'S ORALS
Mr Gutdry announced a concert that was to be held Sunday, October 8 at 3: 00 p.m. at
the Lynwood High School.
Mr. Willis announced a community service day to be held on December 16 at Bateman
hall starting at 9:60 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m. This event is to help provide food
baskets to needy families as well as toys for the children.
Irene Garcia informed the board on her experience she had on a Ride Along with a
sher ff patrol. Mrs. Garcia described how problems were handled when the sheriff's
were called out and the paper work that was to be filled out by the officer afterwards.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6.23 p. m. to the October 15, 1995
regular meeting.
