Local Option Tax Commission
Meeting Minutes
May 9, 2006
Call to Order
The Local Option Tax Commission meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. Those
present were Amanda Kirkpatrick, Andrea Butler, Lance Daniels, Pat Eames, Roger
Snodgrass, Steve Gleason, and Tom Stilinovich. Chairman Gleason declared a quorum
present.
City Clerk Joanne York was present.
Reauests for Funding
Brock Heasley, Parks and Recreation Director, had to leave to attend another meeting;
he was allowed to present his three requests at this time.
❖ (34) Removal and disposal of docks and logs north of Legacy Park and Mile High
Marina ($4,800)
❖ (35) Fairway Park drinking fountain ($1,977)
❖ (36) Seal parking lot at Rotary Park ($3,000)
Approval of Minutes
Roger Snodgrass moved to accept the Minutes of May 2, 2006. Mr. Daniels seconded,
and the motion carried.
April Remittance Report
Joanne York, City Clerk, reported that payments were up to date as of April.
Requests for Fundina. continued
The following funding requests were presented to the Commission by the applicants:
❖ (22) Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary for an interpretive center ($28,289)
❖ (23) Shepherd's Home for a swing set ($1,026)
❖ (31) McCall Public Library for murals on moveable panels ($5,000)
❖ (32) Waaf, Inc., for YMCA programs ($25,000)
❖ (33) McCall Senior Citizens Center for equipment ($3,950)
• (37) Central Idaho Historical Museum for outdoor improvements ($16,000)
