Regular Membership Meeting
3100 E. Imperial
June 28, 1994
MINUTES
The Block Watch Captains met for their regular membership meeting on
June 26, 1994, 6:30 p.m. at the Lynwood Activity Center, 3100 E. Imperial
Highway, Lynwood, CA.
Ten (10) Block Club Captains were in attendance. Staff present was Jim
Given, Project Manager of the Recreation & Community Services
Department.
I. CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Percy Brown, Chairperson called the Block Club Captain's meeting to
order at 6:45 P.M.
II. INVOCATION
Silent Prayer
III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The group said the Pledge of Allegiance.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of May 24, 1994 was MOTIONED and APPROVED.
V. REPORT BY ST11.FF
VI. OLD BUSINESS
There was discussion regarding the speakers. The group was informed that
Mrs. Andrea Hooper, City Clerk was searching to locate the box of
information for captains.
It was stated that the Planning Committee for the Block Captains workshop
needed further developing.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
The date of September 10, 1994 was established to have the guest speakers
for the workshop.
