A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE SELECTION OF ASL CONSULTANTS
INC., TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE FUEL
EFFICIENT TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
' WHEREAS, the City received a State of California grant
for the Fuel Efficient Traffic Signal Maintenance Program
(FETSIM) in the amount of $41,510; and
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal was sent out to
consultant engineering firms with experience in FETSIM projects;
and
WHEREAS, four proposals were received from consultant
engineers; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were analyzed and reviewed by
the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, after careful evaluation of the proposals
and in consultation with Caltrans, staff feels that ASL
Consultants would be best suited to perform the work; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approve the selection
